COVID-19 Guidelines

 

In effort to do our part and cease the spread of COVID-19, our salon will be following these procedures and guidelines. The health of our clients, staff and community are extremely important to us at TraElle Salon Exclusive. We are following guidelines and procedures according to the CDC, as well as the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology/ LA Barbers UFCW.

We are taking the following measures to limit exposure:

  • Our stylists will continue to wash their hands thoroughly before and after each guest.

  • We will disinfect all implements and tools in Barbicide. All surfaces will disinfected and sanitized between each guest.

  • We will continue to change capes, smocks, linens and towels between each guest.

  • We will continue to regularly clean and disinfect working areas, shampoo bowls, dryers, and all other frequently touched surfaces.

  • We will provide a KN95 protective mask for all staff members. Our mask must be worn at all times in salon.

  • We will screen all staff members and clients upon entry to verify the individual does not have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or a temperature exceeding 100.4. Clients with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or a temp exceeding 100.4 will be asked to exit the salon.

  • Each staff member shall certify in writing that they have not had a fever or other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the past 72 hours and have not been in contact with any individual with fever or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 with in the last 14 days.

  • If any one of our stylists is feeling unwell, they will stay home, and we will contact you about rescheduling. Also, we will contact previous clients seen by that stylist to track point of contraction.

We ask all clients to:

  • Please reschedule or cancel your appointment if you are feeling sick, especially if you have had a fever, cough, or trouble breathing or if someone in your household has had these symptoms or COVID-19.

  • If you have worked in close contact quarters with patients and/or first responders. We ask that you keep in mind the safety of our stylist and other guest when deciding to book an appointment.

  • Each client shall certify in writing that they have NOT had a fever or other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the past 72 hours and have NOT been in contact with any individual with fever or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 with in 14 days

  • We will provide 3-ply Surgical mask for all guest. Our mask must be worn at all times.

  • We will provide medical grade hand soap at all guest accessible sinks, please wish your hands for 20-30 seconds upon entry. Medical grade hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the salon. which will be available for guest use.

  • We ask that you please notify your stylist via text or phone call that your have arrived for your appointment. Your stylists will notify you once she is ready for your service. Please be patient with your stylist as we are allowing a 15 minute grace period between each guest to sanitize and disinfect all POC areas.

  • Please do not bring in any large item bags or food. We ask that you ONLY bring in your purse or a work bag. If you need a refreshment, please be sure that it is snack sized to reduce the amount of trash and left behind food items.

  • Coffee and water will be served upon request. Please ask YOUR stylist for these beverages, as she is the only person that can serve you.

  • We ask that when using the guest bathroom, to please disinfect the areas of use before and after. All guest will have to comply to this policy.

  • Please refrain from taking your stylists phone at checkout. We will ask you for a percentage of tip (if at all, you choose to do so is up to you). We will add the tip to the total and have you sign with a stylus pen or we can sign an X in place of your signature.
